Hosting Transfer

We know that changing hosts can be frustrating; our experienced Tech Support Team will do all the work for you. We will transfer your website to our servers at no cost, saving you time and money.

Compensation of Unused Months

As an added bonus, we will compensate up to 6 unused months left with your previous host if you leave before your plan expires. We add those remaining months to your new e-dimensionz Web Hosting account for free.

Website Transfer Requirements

For the transfer process, please email our Tech Support Team through our contact form with the below details for your current web host:

• Web Host URL
• Domain URL of website to be transfered
• The FTP username
• The FTP password
• Email's used on your domain (name@yourdomain.com)
• Domain Registrar login info (if help needed for updating the nameservers)

Website Transfer Requirements

We will assist you in transferring the primary domain on your account. If you require add-on domains to be transferred, please contact us for a custom quote.

If transferring from a cpanel host, it is required to have the same amount of free disk space as used disk space for a backup to be generated without errors. If this is not possible, we recommend asking your old host to generate a full cpanel backup for the account and placing it in your home directory.

Email accounts and messages can only be transferred if the previous hosting account was managed with a cPanel version compatible with e-dimensionz Web Services cPanel (currently cPanel version 11)

FTP accounts can only be transferred if the previous hosting account of the customer was managed with a cPanel version compatible with e-dimensionz Web Services cPanel (currently cPanel version 11)

We cannot guarantee successful transfer if any of the following conditions is present:

• If the website uses a different MySQL version than what e-dimensionz Web Services currently uses (currently MySQL 5+)
• If the website uses a different PHP version than what e-dimensionz Web Services currently uses (currently PHP 5+)
• If the server of the previous host continuously experiences reliability issues during the transfer.

The website transfer can take up to 72 Hours to be completed and show up on our service after all necessary information is provided by customer.

Websites greater than 500MB cannot be transferred for free as part of the transfer promotion.

Terms and Conditions

• The transfer promotion applies to customers who purchase any Standard plans located at: www.web-hosting/index.php
• This offer is valid to any customers who purchase services for at least a year.
• The customer should request this transfer promotion by emailing our sales dept at support@e-dimensionz.com or through our contact form within 7 days after initial signup.
• The customer should present cancellation notice to previous hosting account and provide document showing the expiration date of the previous account in order to receive compensation for the months remaining with the previous hosting provider.
• The promotion does not have any cash value and cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.
