Web Design Process
Step 1: Objectives
The first step to creating your website is setting your objectives. Do you want a branding site, a trading platform, a lead generating site, or an information site? Whatever your objectives are, your web site is a key promotional tool, complementing other aspects of your marketing strategies.
Step 2: Planning
With the information provided in Step 1, we move to the planning phase for your website and develop the site framework. The framework will be a guide to what content will be on the site and what features will be implemented. I.e. elements such as interactive forms, shopping cart, webinars, etc.
Step 3: Design Concepts
We can now begin to develop a couple design concepts for you to consider that will reflect your corporate identity. The initial designs are typically a .jpg image of what the final design will look like and provide you with the opportunity to express your likes and dislikes about the design. We will discuss the designs with you and make adjustments to ensure the final design will match your needs and taste
Step 4: Development
Once you have approved a layout for your website, it's time for us to start building your website. We will provide regular progress reports.
Step 5: Testing and Delivery
At this point, together we test the functionality and appearance of your website. If any adjustments are required, they will be applied prior to going live.
Step 5: Website Launch
It's time to launch your website and make your web presence known. There are many ways in which you can do this:
- A Search Engine Optimization Campaign
- Incorporate your web address on all printed material
- Verbally by your own staff
- Press announcements
- Advertising
- Mailings
Step 6: Maintenance and Updates
After your website is live, the development of your web site is not necessarily over. One way to bring repeat visitors to your site is to offer new content or products on a regular basis. We offer maintenance packages if you would like us to update the information on your web site. Maintenance package pricing are based on how often you anticipate making changes or additions to your web site.
